This seems to be what life is like in RP. When there's school everyday. And work everyday. Ans studying everyday. Life becomes a meaningless routine and a major headache. More so if your school cleverly decides to have 3 tests from 3 absolutely HARD modules back to back.KNNCCB LAH. RP SUCKS CAN? FA - CRM - BS. CB. THEY THINK WE'RE MACHINES IS IT?! GOT SUPER BIG GIGABYTE OF MEMORY SPACE IN OUR BRAINS TO ABSORB EVERYTHING FOR 3 MOUDULES.

AND on a side note:

I miss so many of these shows! Are You Afraid of the Dark, Clasrissa Explains It All, Rocket Power, Rugrats, All That, The Amanda Show, Brothers Garcia, Legends of the Hidden Tempe, Wild Thornberries, As Told By Ginger and Kenan and Kel.

I used to watch these shows everyday without fail! Especially loved All That and the Amanda Show 'cos it was like a kids version of SNL.

First week back at school! I'm exhausted! So not used to waking up at 7am anymore after sleeping in till 11+. Sighs. But school's been alright so far. FA is still...well stressful during lesson time. BS - aiya si bei annoying lah but getting easier now that we're back to excel stuff. HTM and Service are the same.

So all in all it's as though we were never on holidays, minus the waking up part.

Oh the day before JUSTERDAY, I went down to SP for the first time this year! Many exciting things happened! Hehe. Must be my presence in the school. But luckily no one FELLED down the stairs.

Back to school blues have settled in.

Starting the year off with FA did not help at all.

Plus there was some really sad news in the family. Unexpected I swear. So much so that I don't know how to react. I should be sad. But I haven't gotten past the surprise of what happened. We weren't close. Not of late anyway but most of my malaysian childhood memories in pd involve him teaching me how to play hockey in his backyard.

But there was some good news today. I got the SPH IIP attachment! Yay. Downside? Call center. Again. But what the heck. The dress code isn't strict. The shifts are good timings. And it's SPH. There's nothing to complain about.

Woo. My first post for the new year! Bah, nothing exciting. But the new year's started out awesome. With a party, drinks and 2 movies. Yay! So my first 2 movie reviews of the year!

First, went to catch the 3 Idiots yesterday. Amir Khan, Madhavan and some other dude. Oh and Kareena Kapoor. The movie is effing funny! First the fact that 45 year old Amir Khan can pass off as a college kid is just mind blowing. And the movie has super hilarious jokes and scenes. And there are the emotional parts where of 'cos I cried. Must must MUST watch. I am so buying the DVD for this.

Today, after like more than a year I finally met up with Darsh. Like yay! We had tons to catch up on. We managed to slip The Vampire's Assistant into our outing.

This movie. Umm...It had it's funny parts. But it didn't live up to it's trailer's promises or the books. Kinda entertaining I guess. But still better if you go download it or just wait for the dvd to be released.

All in all it's been a good start to the year. Just hope this can continue.

Finally managed to catch Avatar today. Seriously it's as good as everyone's saying. I paid $6 for it but I'd totally pay $10 to watch it. James Cameron is pure genius. The storyline I have to admit was predictable, but still really nice to watch.

The animations...whoa. Blew my mind I swear. So freaking good. I fell in love with Pandora. The place is just beautiful. What I would give to be able to go to place like that. Watching Avatar is like watching Star Wars. Planet Earth doesn't exist. It's a whole new system, new people, new creatures. Things you never dreamed of.

Doesn't hurt that the lead actor isn't all that bad look. Heck, I'd say he's a total cutie. Not a big fan of his eye squint though. Hehe.

Today's just been a really good day you know. After the movie, I got a call from the faci in charge of IIP...And I got an interview with SPH! If I wanted to work locally SPH's always been my goal and now I get that chance. I may not be doing the job I'd wanna be doing, but I'd take it over nothing. Wish me luck.

My interview's next Monday and the better news, I get to leave Financial Accounting lesson early for it. And my grade doesn't get affected. Could my first day of school get any better? Hehe.

Plans for tonight include watching Dexter. Seriously, I wish Singapore tv was a BIT more up to date. I'd totally miss out on this show if I had been so bored.

Well. Here's my last update for the year 2009. It's been on helluva decade. Hopefully the coming one is a lot better.

I Wouldn't Have Said

It's that time of the year now. When I make up my list of resolutions and proceed to forget them over the next 365 days. I can barely remember what I wrote out last year. Nevermind. This year I shall just list out simple things. Things I know I can/will do even if I don't remember that they are part of my resolution.

No more ending of friendships. Gonna maintain all good friends I got now. Change nothing.
Save up min. $1000 for my NZ trip at the end of year3sem2.
Smoke less. One pack's gonna last me for at least 4-5 days.
Raise up my GPA. I must go to Auz for uni. MUST.
Stop bad mouthing facis...maybe luh. This one not confirmed. Some of them deserve it.
Stop picking fights with my mom unnecessarily.
Mourn the ending of Power Rangers. No more new seasons :(
Find newer books to read. Reduce vampire books, increase crime books.
Be less sarcastic/mean/cutting
Lastly, don't let other screw me over. I screw them over.

Should be simple enough, except for the saving money part. That's gonna take A LOT of self control to spend money as and when I like. Sighs. But after going through so much this year, I'm looking forward to 2010.

Had many good times in 2009. Turning 18, many outings with all my friends. Watching so many movies, meeting awesome people.

And then there were the horrible times. Being constantly ditched by a good friend and eventually ending that friendship. Being backstabbed by people I barely even knew.

But that's all over.

OKOK. I'm here to wake up this rotting blog. I've got so much to update about and it's not that I don't have the time. I've just been too lazy. hehe. Anyways, I've been occupying my time by re-watching old shows and tuning into new ones.

In 2 days I managed to go through the entire Charmed series, season 1 through 8. All on DVD and every single episode watched. An achievement I'm super proud of.

DAY 1:
They watch their first movie
and they both are touched by the romantic film.

DAY 4:
They went go to the beach and have a picnic. Derick and Lily have their quality time together.

Derick invited Lily to a circus and they ride through a Horror House.
Lily was scared and she thought she touched Derick’s hand but she actually touched someone else’s hand they both laughed.

DAY 15:
They saw a fortune teller down the road, and they asked for their future advice.
The fortune teller said:

Lily invited Derick to go to the hill

A stranger approached Lily

Stranger:

Stranger:
A reckless drunk driver ran over Derick, and he is in critical condition in the hospital.

11:57 pm:
The doctor walked out of the emergency room; he handed Lily an apple juice and a letter.

Doctor:
We found this in Derick’s pocket.

Lily reads the letter and it says:
Lily, These past few weeks, I realized you are a really cute girl, and I am really falling for you-your cherished smile, your everything when we played this game. Before this game ends, I would like you to be my girlfriend for the rest of my life.

Lily crumpled up the paper and shouted:

“Derick! I don’t want you to die-

First Chance

I'm backkk...to blogging and back in sunny Singapore.

After spending the last 6 days in India, it honestly feels goo to be back in Singapore. I've missed so many people and so many things! Like hot water! And my bed! And all my friends!!

India was so much better than I expected. The amount of shopping I did. I could really kick myself. IF I was the one paying for the stuff. But I wasn't so therefore there was no kicking. (: Everything from new clothes, new earrings, new chains, new bangles, new books were in my bag when I left on Sunday night.

Oh new books. How I love them. I'm trying to pace myself and read them slowly BUT in one day I managed to go through 2 books already.

Talking about books. I'm into the whole vampire thing again. Not twilight. Better than twilight. And I've fallen in love. With Demitri Belikov. And in love with the Vampire Academy series. Someone buy me the other books in the series please. PRETTY PLEASE. OH. And L.J. Smith's other books.

I couldn't find all of them in India! So I gotta hunt in Singapore. Which is gonna be hard cos my mom's banned me from buying books! :(

Sigh. I'm looking forward to the next 2 weeks. Making plans with people. People I haven't seen in ages and ages! Lin, Benny, Ju, Haz, Sonia and of cos there's the awesome picnic on friday! Dumdum's dream finally coming true! HAHAHA.

Tired! My feet are screaming in agony.

Today was Anchor Point - > Bugis Street -> 313.

So you can see why I'm exhausted. But it was a fun day. Finally managed to buy my new jeans! 2 pairs in fact. (: Plus I got to check out SOME of 313. I think one whole day there won't be enough to cover the place. Only got to see Uno Qlo, Forever 21 and Hula and Co. there. I wanna see their HMV. I can only imagine how big it's gonna be!

Anyways, last day of school tomorrow! Woohoo. Well not really woohoo for me because the faster tomorrow ends the faster Tuesday comes and that means I'm flying of to India. Pfftt....The only good thing about this trip is that nothing, and i mean nothing, is being paid for by me. Everything is on my parents. I'm not even bringing my wallet! Hehe.

I'm more excited to come home than to go there. Got many things lined up. X'mas outing with Ju, LeiBing & Benny. Karaoke with Lin & Jane and also with Hana, Dumdum and Wifey! (: Plans for the 23rd confirmed. Excited as ever...just hope nothing stops me from having a blast this holidays. And NYE party confirmed. (: I'm glad we're sticking to our tradition. It would be weird without it.

Oh. I'm all out of books to read :( Someone buy me new books please? L.J. Smith preferably. Totally into the Night World books now. Wanna read moremoremoremore. That reminds me, the ONLY OTHER good thing about going to India, is that I get to go book hunting! :D More books for me me me me me me!

Where to start...where to start.

Hmmm...Ok today. School's getting better. Must have something to do with the fact that the holidays are just around the corner. Even the BS faci was nice to us this week.

In class today we drew lots for a secret santa thing. My person's pretty simple to shop for! Happy! But I wanna know who got me!! Hmph. But I wanna be surprised. Can I have it both ways??????? Hehe.

After school went to Anchor Point with Lin, Halim, Syhirah and Dian. So much trouble just to get there! We intended to take cab. First there were no cabs stopping. Then all the cabs that stopped said they won't take 5 people. Finally we decided to split and just take 2 cabs to get there.

Anchor Point is like so awesome can. Outlet stores everywhere!!!! Until KFC also think they Outlet store and charged us $10 for a $15.50 meal! HAHAHAHA. PRO RIGHT. Saw some nice stuffs around but didn't really have time to check it out properly cos my stupid brother gave me a scare when he called me -.-

And Halim...oh Halim. Gave us a lot of laugh about! Lin and I were laughing all the way from Anchor Point, in the cab, at Redhill MRT and until she got off the train.

Yesterday...

Went to watch Case 39 with Haz! I never go out with that bully victim of mine for so long!! Had prata at Banquet. Damn nice! Must eat the prata there again! And then off to watch the movie. Movie was nice! Cos I was watching it for a 2nd time so I laughed more than I screamed!

Wednesday...

Outing with Neerie! After god knows how many months! Original plan was to catch New Moon. But turns out the sneak peeks weren't showing anymore. We took it as a sign that New Moon sucked so bad that we shouldn't be watching it. Watched Case 39 instead! And then had Pasta Mania! And then SHOE SHOPPING! Or not. We just went into every shop and tried all the shoes we liked and left!

I’m back to update! Everybody say “YEAH”.

School’s been draggy but yay the long weekend’s here! I honestly cannot wait to have some fun, to rest and relax.

Yesterday was a fun day though. HTM lesson brought us to Singapore Museum. Pfft. I didn’t even know we had a museum.LOL. It was nice to have a out of classroom lesson. And the best part, we were dispersed from there after class. (Y)

After the museum went to play pool with Jane, Kim and David. WAKAKAKAKA. Haven’t played pool in eons, last time was with Benny? Eons ago and my already lousy skills have become worse. Lucky there was the pro player Kim there. He was nice enough to pause his teasing of me to help me. =D

Meeting them again tomorrow to do the same thing. =D Excited seh...I’m finally going out after a long time.

Kay! I’m falling asleep at my desk already. I’m gonna finish watching CSI NY an then heading to bed.

I just finished reading this book!! I am so glad I decided not to wait for the paperback to come out and just bought the book. Freaking awesome I swear. There are times I wished the train ride would never end just so that I could keep on reading.

Reading Dan Brown's books makes even more curious about America's forefathers and all the conspiracies about them. I like how this book is less about Langdon's amazing symbology skills and more about the practices of freemasonry.

And and and the twist at the end...I totally didn't expect it!! I was like =O I had to flip back and re-read it a few times just to make sure I wasn't making a mistake.

A total MUST MUST MUST READ.

Winds of Change

2 consecutive days of partial-ing school. Someone please clap for me.

Yesterday. FA module...pfft, I made plans from Sunday already to partial that class. It's my personal post-UT treat. I don't get to suffer in class. Instead Ju and I went to enjoy. Caught 2012 at CWP. Yes I know I watched it for a 2nd time but whatever. It's a bloody awesome movie and totally worth it. Had an awesome time.

After that went off to work. I now see the down side to working on a school day. Buay tahan. Super tired I swear. Especially when you're all alone and your phone bill doesn't really allow you to sms people for 4 hours straight.

Plus I think I bought some bad Subway for dinner?? Woke up with bad stomach ache this morning. Stupid unfresh ham. HMPH.

Today's class. I got no comments. Faci with a effed up attitude and her effed up comments combined with my tiredness = partial. Totally unintended. I feel a little guilty leaving Lin and Nora. But again, buay tahan.

Nisa came all the way down to Woodlands to meet me and go to Boots&Shoes. -.- I got no comments for you lah. Walked around CWP shopping for a while. Printed photos. Snacked on Macs and then headed back to SP.

Many many funny things happened at SP. I am very tempted to write ALL out in detail because according to a certain DUMDUM, no one reads my blog. Hmph. But you're lucky I'm such a lazy ass...I'm not gonna bother.

Every week I've been checking and checking to see if the latest Psych episode is out and every week I get disappointed when I see nothing. So I decided to go check when the next episode is and this is what I found :

Movie updates. Over the last couple of days I managed to catch the top 2 movies on my MUST WATCH list. 2012 and Paranormal Activity.

Paranormal Activity scared the shit outta me man!!! I screamed a lot. And jumped into Jane's seat A LOT. And covered my eyes A LOT. But I also laughed a lot. The movie's damn good I have to say. Watch it watch it!!!!!!

And then there's 2012. Storyline awesome. Effects even more awesome. The super lucky lead characters...a little unbelievable but still nice to watch. Definately a must watch.

Other than that...UT 1s are over. I have nothing to say. Pfft. It's all over. YAY.

I got a job. More yay. But it's mostly night hours. So that means, less after school movies and less trips down to SP after class. :( But I'll finally have money coming in. That's definitely a good thing.

Class is so effing boring. I really really don't look forward to school at all. Except maybe on Wednesdays. 'Cos Grace is the best faci we have!

Yesterday, went out with Lin, Benny & Carlson. Went to The Cathay to Catch Coraline in 3D. I honestly wasn't expecting much from the movie 'cos a lot of people have told me it's boring and whatnot. But the movie wasn't all that bad. Not worth my $13 but if I had paid $10 it wouldn't have been bad. Pretty funny movie actually.

Oh and some of the animations are just so cute! The 'Other Mother' even looks a bit like Teri Hatcher. Hehe.

Went to Plaza Sing's Starbucks after that to slack. It's been months since I had a Java Chip and when I finally ordered it yesterday, it was the worst Java Chip I've ever drunk!! Civic Center's Starbucks is a million times better!!!!!!!!!!

Me likes slacking out. We just sat there from like...4 plus till 9.30. (Y) Pro.

Today. I finally went to watch My Sister's Keeper.

I guess if you see the movie as a separate entity from the book, it can be considered a very good movie. But considering the fact that the movie is based off the book, you can't do that. The movie isn't as sucky as other movies based off books, but there was a lot missing. The emotion especially. The movie is a lot more touch and go than the book.

But all in all it wasn't THAT bad I guess. I hated the ending though. Hated it with every fiber in my being.

Oh and my mom was very nice to me today for some reason. Sponsored my movie tickets, popcorn, drinks & even 2 pairs of shoes from Charles&Keith. =D Of course she didn't let me buy the pair of shoes that I really wanted. But I shall be happy with what I have for now.

School's been a bloody drag. I swear I am looking forward to my attachment next year, takes me away from seeing fucked up facis, enemies etc. On the down side, I don't get to see much of Lin. :(

I've come to realize that I can actually make some good friends in E55D. People like Nora & Joachim are entertaining and easy to talk to. But that idiot Joachim keeps on bullying me! I think most of my vulgarities in one day are directed towards him.

My brother's going to India in one week. I can't wait. One week of peace and quiet in the house. Not that I'm home a lot. But still. =D

Ju's getting me readdicted to One Tree Hill, the early years! I wanna watch season 4 again! Time to go dig out the dvds. If only I can remember where I stored them. Hmmm....

School's such a drag lately. There's honestly no motivation for me to drag myself out of bed and to class. I think the modules are crap. Most of the facis are not worth my time or energy. The only thing I come to school now is to see friends. RP friends, MPSS friends and whoever.

I look forward to the weekends. But now my weekends are packed with driving and whatnots. Very tiring. And on top of everything, UTs have started. Bring on the the studying. :(

On the bright side, one good thing has happened. After who knows how long I finally managed to catch up with Gordon Tan. =D Miss him in my class lahh.... :( He promised to buy me a carebear for my birthday! Must wait so long. hmph.

Skipped school with Ju and Benny today. I didn't wanna go to class 'cos there was no Lin, no Kim & no Nora. =( Very sad and boring without all these people in class you know! And it was very easy to tempt Ju and Benny 'cos one had a lousy module and the other had a bitch of a faci.

We went to catch Jennifer's Body at CWP.

I swear, this was a total waste of my money. The only good thing in the entire movie was Megan Fox. The story line sucked, the acting sucked, Amanda Syfried annoyed the shit outta me. The movie was sick lah. Even when people were killed it was not as gory as Halloween 2. But there were the nice parts. Every now and then.

After the movie we slacked at a place recommended by Ju. CWP carpark! Funny place right? But it was nice. The view + the wind = shiok! And we were just standing there and talking and talking and talking. Didn't even notice the time fly by.

So I say. Totally worth skipping school today. =D

Yesterday, skipping school with Lin & Nora. We just couldn't take the lesson. Too much alien language going on for me!!!

We left during lunch and headed to CWP to catch Halloween 2! It's a nice movie okay! Ju and Lei Bing have officially named me a sicko cos I told them it was a nice movie!! HAHA. It was more fun watching Lin and Nora getting freaked out the entire time. HEHE.

HTM today was funn...'cos my team was fun and the lesson was easy and the faci is so nice! I am NOT looking forward to next wednesday. 'Cos Grace is gonna be in Amsterdam so E55G's so so very nice faci is taking over. -.- JOY. Can't even skip 'cos got UT! :(

I know there are people who are waiting to read the story of what hell I went through yesterday but I am no gonna talk about it. Every time I tell the story again the stress comes back so no repeating it anymore!

Anyways, today went to catch Aadhavan with Ju and Rubini. Eh eh, my first time watching Tamil movie in the cinema. Someone be proud of me. Plus the movie was good. Very funny! Surya is not only bloody hot but he's good actor. I wanna watch again! Can??????????

After that went to AMK for lunch and shoppping!! Well I watched them shop anyway. I've officially arrived at the land of the Broke. :( But it was still fun. To look at some of the really ridiculous clothes people try to sell.

Reached home around 5+ and rushed to get ready to go out for dinner with the family. I love NUS Clubhouse. The outdoor BBQ is awesome stuff man. Especially their pork ribs...so soft and delicious. I want moreee!!

Oh oh and the live band was so nice! They sang oldies and country songs! And I knew most of them! I wanna test out their K-Room. I gotta feeling it's much better than anything we can find outside. Who wants to gooo?????????

I wanna blog with pics but I'm too bloody lazy.

Without any prior intention of doing so, Lin and I skipped school today. Accounting + 8.30 am module + monday blues = NO MOOD FOR SCHOOL

And since Benny already decided to take self declared holiday to celebrate Deepavali [-.-] we decided to just slack at Woodlands. It was fun. Like those times last sem when we 3 used to skip together. And laughing. A lot.

After that met Haz after school and we decided to eat KFC dinner and catch Imagine That.

The movie was funny man! It's a family movie and totally touching and had me close to tearing by the end. It had Haz crying already.

I still don't like Eddie Murphy though. Hmph.

I have come to realize that RP has some real nasty facis. And I don't like it when those nasty demoralize my friends and make them feel like giving up. So please don't give up. Show that bitch up and let her see that you do have an interest in your work and that she's nothing but a stodgy old woman who's suffering from lack of sex so she takes her frustrations out on you. =D

17th November. It's finally Deepavali! So Happy Deepavali to all those celebrating.

This is my first Deepavali in Singapore in...4 or 5 years I think. And while I do miss visiting all my relatives and seeing all my cousins in Malaysia it was kinda nice to celebrate in Singapore with just the four of us.

My mom cooked up an amazing feast for lunch. Mutton Brayani. Can you say yum?! My dad made drinks and there were the snacks that I'm totally addicted too. Especially the suji biscuits. They are bloody amazing I tell you.

Thanks to my wifey, Haz, Ju, Renga and Lin for your wishes. =D

Oh and I finally got to watch the hinidi Ghajini with Amir Khan. I hate to say it but Amir did a much better job than Surya. I don't know why but they really like to over play the violence in Tamil movies...In hinidi ones even if there's violence it's not all that much...even for Ghajini.

And I'm off to watch 90210 now.

I don't know WHY. But I decided to torture my feet today. I wore my very awesome looking boots today. And as nice as they look...they don't feel nice when my feet are in them. Fucking pain I swear. But somehow I managed to make it home.

Class today...bleah. Biz Stats is gonna kill me. But I gotta thank dumdum for digging out all her notes and helping me out and drawing a very nice looking image on msn to help me understand better. Didn't help much...but it's the thought that counts right? Hehe.

Met Gordon during the first break...I hate to admit that I miss having him as a classmate. He's just too entertaining. =)

After school caught Haeundae: The Deadly Tsunami with Ju, Lei Bing, Kim, Saleha and Benny. The movie is awesome. I swear. It's got everything a movie should have comedy, romance, drunken idiots, saddness and deaths.

Out of the 6 of us...5 of us ended up tearing/crying. Make a wild guess who didn't even shed a single tear. Benny asked me at the end of the movie which part was sad. HAHAHAHA. He told me not to mention to anyone that he was the only one who didn't cry.

But Benny Tan, this is revenge for leaking out information that I told you in total confidence. Hmph.

I am on my way to broke-ness right now. Running out of $$$$$ very fast. And I still needa go hunting for Haz's tissue paper!!!

Yesterday's Vampire Diaries episode was awesome!!!! It's gonna be even more awesome next week when they continue from the damn cliffhanger they left us on!!!

2nd week of school starts tomorrow and honestly it feels as though a month has passed by. I think by the time I get used to a 5 day week it's gonna be the end of year holidays already. Tsk.

Yesterday night was a ton of fun with the girls. Minus on Dumdum. -.-
The show was damn good as well. And trust me, if I pay and go for a some tamil show and actually enjoy, it must be good. Only thing that was missing from it was Nisa's awesome dancing!

After the show there were tons of HAPPY moments 'cos of a certain familiar face. And someone in particular was extremely happy. I even managed to snap a picture of that person's back so that someone can admire it whenever someone wants to. hehe.

Headed to Clementi for a late dinner. At 10.30 apparently Mos Burger's the only thing thats open. But I have to admit even with only 2 choices on the menu for me, it was a good a good dinner.

Tomorrow...I needa send this lovely laptop for reformatting at the IT helpdesk . There is something in my harddrive that is causing the whole thing to lag. I don't know if it's too many programs or a virus but either way I want my entire system cleaned and a fresh start.

Update time!!

Yesterday. Went to catch Sorority Row with my #1 movie buddy, Haz! The movie was awesome man. Exactly what I expect from a slasher flick. Lots of blood, gruesome deaths, bad language and the unexpected twist. Awesome fun I swear. We had our eyes covered so many times! Definitely worth catching!

After the movie waited for a LONG time for Nisa to walk down to Woodlands from RP. Very long you know. But worth it cos I had company all the way back home. For once. In the train we came up with this amazing prank to play on Dumdum and she totally fell for it! Damn hilarious!! Shall not elaborate because...well it’s private. Hehe. And then she posted this very nice post on her blog today and I just had to show it off!

Today.

I’m liking E55D more with each day that passes. There are some pretty awesome people in the class and during the days we have nice modules the atmosphere is very fun and light. =D

After school day was a mini reunion with the E66P girls. Had dinner at Pasta Mania with Ju, Saleha, Lei Bing and Kim. Finally! I’ve been craving for pasta since watching Cloudy With A Chance of Meatballs with Lin. After dinner walked around CWP to window shop. Saw a very nice backpack but I couldn’t get it!

I’m pretty lacking in the $$ department now. $33 gone. :(

Falling Like Rain

It's been such an up and down day.

Woke up this morning with a bloody migraine. My whole right side, from my head to my shoulder, was just throbbing with pain. I thought to take Panadol since it would be torture to suffer through class with that kinda pain.

So when I met Ju, Gina and Saleha for breakfast I ate. A miniscule burger and took the Panadol. And my migraine went away.

BUT. Because of that stupid burger I had to suffer through class with a stomach ache. -.- Ever since the hospitalization I've become super sensitive to outside food :( I can't eat fast food, I can't eat RP food and I don't know what else I can't eat but I bet it's an extensive list.

On the bright side, class today was fun. I like Hospitality and Tourism Management. It's my kinda lesson where most of the time you can just talk your way through it. Not like bloody accounting. Plus the faci was really nice!!

After school went to catch Cloudy With A Chance Of Meatballs with Benny and Lin. The movie's nice! Pretty funny and the animation is so nice! Oh and the main character, Flint, SUPER CUTE when they showed him as kid! Definitely worth catching.

Next up, YOG briefing tomorrow. And hopefully get to meet Haz after that. Haven't seen her in ages! She keeps on telling me something is happening in 3 weeks and I have no idea what! Apparently the 27th of Oct is an important day. Anybody know why?????? (A)

First day of school.

God. I wanna skip already.

I can only hope tomorrow is better than today. I really don't remember the journey from Woodlands being this long. Tiring man. The last few times I took train from school to go home I was sick. So I guess my memory has faded.

I really envy those people who can come to school with literally nothing[bennytan]. Not fair. I would rather not lug my notebook up and down. And I envy those people who stay at Woodlands only [HAZ.] No one hour journey for them to go home!

It's quite literally been months since I've read fanfiction. And feeling a little bored and nostalgic I decided to go check up on it and read a few. I do miss CW a lot.

And I remember why I stopped reading them. The things people write now just keeps me in peals of laughter all the time. They are so amazingly, ridiculous! God. I have nothing to say about them. I can barely get through 1/2 a chapter, let alone read the entire 10 chapters or more!

It would appear as though all the good authors did what I did. Stopped writing and publishing on ff.net. It's sad 'cos now the pages are filled with idiotic stories and the good ones have just faded off.

I shouldn't complain too I guess 'cos I've been receiving e-mails lately telling me to get my writing in gear again. I forgot I left one story totally incomplete. But now...I've lost all mood to write. It's honestly very sad. To me.

Today's technically Sunday already and school starts tomorrow. Wow. Seriously, the holidays have just gone by. It might have something to do with the fact that 2 weeks I spent travelling around, 1 week I was trapped at home and the rest of the time I was with my friends having fun. Oh and RP is extra stupid and just HAS to end the holidays before any other poly does.

Bad news. It's a five day week that starts with Financial Accounting at 8.30am. -.- I was only planning on reaching Woodlands at 8.30. Now I have to wake up and leave even earlier. Why the heck do we have to take a year 1 module huh.

But on the bright side Wednesday's module starts at 10! So there's a little sleeping in for me on Wednesdays!

Then decided to go for seesha! Haven't gone since June! And it was nice to just slack there and talk. And talk and smoke and talk and smoke. A perfect afternoon only 2nd to yesteday. =D

I was cracking my head on what the hell to do 'cos no one was free. And then my dad came home and handed me a plastic bag. In it was Star Trek,G.I. JOE: Rise Of The Cobra and Final Destination 4.

Woohoo! Movie marathon for me tomorrow! I haven't done that in a long time! Ever since I bought the last season of Gilmore Girls on dvd. I'm excited for my day of solitude!

Yesterday. 2nd day of my freedom. Plan was to go to Lin's house cos she invited us over for Hari Raya. As usual Benny was late so I went to sk library to pass time.

And who do I run into there? Ju! HAHAHA. Been talking to her a lot the last few days but haven't seen her since the chalet. So it was nice bumping into her.

We gotta do this more often! Although, I'd rather not go back to the airport. 'Cos they've closed our face viewing gallery! :( And it's kinda sorta boring already. Think I've been going there too much over the last one year. Sending my dad off, picking him up and us travelling.

First day of the catch-up sessions.

Met my #1 movie partner Haz. For some reason today she kept on trying to be romantic with me. First she kept on playing with my foot under the table and then she kept on telling me to buy stuff for her. I cannot take it until I poured my popcorn all over her!!!! HAHAHAHA.

And it was nice finally catching up with Haz. Updating her about my sitaution and getting updates about her situations.

One week for me to enjoy before I have to start dragging my ass outta bed and all the way to Woodlands. =( I've spent so little time with my friends the last few weeks, its sad man.

First and most importantly, I have to meet up with my ace. I quite literally haven't seen her in months and we are in serious need of catching up. I have lost all my dirty mindedness 'cos I spend so little time with you now days :(

Secondly, MUST meet up with every person in this photo at the same time! The last time we all met together was July 15th! Dudes more than a month ago!! I miss my wifey!! Sometimes, I wish we were back in sec school where all we have to do is walk a couple of steps and we can see each other.

Then there's my number 1 movie marathon partner! Haz! I haven't seen a movie in a LONG time. And we got a lot a lot a lot of stuff to catch up on!! I wanna update you on so many things and I wanna hear your updates!!

Lastly, got a date with these 2 to watch Jennifer's Body. I don't when or where or what time but I am looking forward to it. Now that the stress of PP is finally over and done with.

Poly Forum...was a lot more fun than I anticipated. Met a whole bunch of awesome people and saw some familiar faces. Spent hours and hours debating and arguing about all sorts of things. Put in a ton of hard work to come up with a solid presentation and finally presented to the Principals of the 5 polytechnics.

At the same time had a ton of fun. Movie nights and afternoons camped out in rooms. Watched High Voltage, Wanted and P.S. I Love You. Spent one night in Burt's room with the guys, 10 bottles of coke, 5 bottles of other random drinks and a bottle of Sky. Got bullied by the guys 'cos it was my fault we had that many bottles of coke. [hey it's not my fault I know the lyrics to so many songs so well!]

And finally came back to Singapore. Relaxed at SP, played a little pool, sang a little karaoke and sat back and fell asleep during the closing ceremony. Came home dog tired. But it was totally worth it. Even makes me feel like signing up next year...but doubt I will.

This time with family.

And this time I'm not looking forward to it. 'Cos I'm so bloody tired from all the traveling. I just wanna stay home and sleep and rot in front of the TV. I guess I have the next two weeks to do that.

You know, now that I think about it, it's probably a good thing that I didn't sleep in today. I can sleep on the loooooooooong journey to PD. And maybe it will seem like it took 15 minutes again. I swear I'm bone tired.

Plus my knee is killing me. I don't know how or why or what happened but it pain like shit. I went to the gym and after only one round on the treadmill and cycle I couldn't take it. :( Hope it gets better by next Tuesday. I wanna go swimming.

I was searching for something to watch online and I found this show. Vampire Diaries. Based off L.J.Smith's books. First episode was amazing. I can't wait for the next episodes to come. And typically, I think the bad guy is the hottest in the show. Hehe.

Next week my shows all are resuming!! Happiness!! One Tree Hill and Gossip Girl start on Monday. 90210 starts on Tuesday. And I think I'm gonna follow Melrose Place as well...starting on Tuesday too. I needa go check when Psych and Bones starts up again but I'm sure it's within the next 2 weeks!!

Center Of The Ring

I'm back!!! Woohoo. It's so good to be back. I missed my house. I missed my room. I specially missed my bed!

And now that I'm back in good ol' Singapore. I have to leave in 48 hours. -.- Annoying. I swear my entire next week is gonna be spent in Malaysia. I'll only be in Singapore for a couple of hours. From Thursday night to Friday. Then we're driving to the boring town of Port Dickson. God. Can someone kill of for a span of 8 days so that I don't need to go through any of this torture.

Bali was kinda fun I guess. My parents took the whole 'RnR' thing to heart and were in bed by 10pm. So was my brother. What the hell man. Plus I had no connection to the internet. I amazingly bored. Thank god for books.

Highlights of the trip were :

The seafood. Best I've ever eaten!
Hotel was literally located on a cliffside overlook the Indian Ocean. Beautiful beyond words

That's pretty much it. I barely did any shopping. But I did swim. And despite the georgous looking pool...the water is so effing DIRTY. Annoying.

Funny thing today. I was supposed to meet Benny at 3pm. I called him at 2.45 when I left my house. My phone call, woke him up. -.-

Fortunately for me, I have a TON of friends who are FOREVER late. So I'm used to it.

Check out this pool. Seriously. How can someone not look forward to spending an entire day relax there in it???? And this is just ONE pool. There's still 3 others at the hotel. Plus the gorgeous beach. I'm gonna make sure I see the sunrise at least once during this trip.

I need start my packing tomorrow. Otherwise I'm gonna end up there with no clothes. Gotta run some errands tomorrow. Get books, get batteries etc. And my last chance to go out before flying off.

I have no words.

I guess it was 80% a disappointment and 20% awesome.

First night was pretty ok with the bbq and the drinking and the people. The best part of the entire night was seeing Ivan and Benny down the VSOP. Power to Ivan for not getting drunk man.

Second night was even better because of the night cycling. But seriously, what kind of class chalet is it when only 2 people are staying over. Thus the disappointment factor.

But I don't really care 'cos at least it was a good friend staying over and night cycling was awesome. Went around Pasir Ris park, White Sands, Tampines and all the way back to Coasta Sands.

So really I gotta thank Benny for making the chalet awesome. =D

I am so bloody tired right now... yet I'm not the least bit sleepy.

My tiredness from yesterday is combining with today's to make me feel so much...pain. I went running yesterday and insomnia struck at night. Didn't get more than 1-2 hours of sleep. =(

Plus I spent pretty much the whole day out today. And while I did nothing that involved much energy...I'm still tired like hell.

I dunno why, but Benny really really likes to go to RP library and slack. So today, during the school holidays, I went back to school to sit in the library and watch movies and learn how to play dota and do nothing. But I can't deny that I had fun. =D His stories always make me laugh till my mouth actually hurts.

Tomorrow is my resting day. Sleeping and reading and playing dota is all that I plan on doing. Save up my energy for the chalet. Hehe.

Good god it's seriously boring. Thankfully I've found a new book to read! No, it's not one of the stupid books I borrowed from the library. Those ones just sucked.

I trying out Jeffery Archer and so far it's caught my interest. Very Jodi Picoult-esque but without the sensitive drama.

I can't wait for the next 2 weeks. So many things lined up. Chalet, Bali, shopping, going outs...After being stuck at home, I cannot wait to enjoy my holidays.

I'm seriously sick of all the fighting. I don't get why you gotta pick on me all the time when I haven't done a damn thing. The comparing i get. God, that's gone on my entire life and I'm used to it now. But I am so sick of you ragging on me all the time. I get it. I'm not perfect and I probably will never be in your eyes. I finally used my 'Get out of jail' card today. Had to go all the way to Woodlands to pay a stupid $50. Hmph. Why does RP have to be so damn far away???!!! Plus now I have no concession for my EZ-Link. $2 per trip. I swear SMRT is sucking our money.

Lucky for me, I have a very nice friend who's willing to accompany me. We slacked at Woodlands for a while. It's so nice to be able to go out of the house. I hate being trapped in here and having to stare at the walls when I really have nothing to do.

Benny was telling me about the NAPHA test and all I can think now is "thank god, girls don't need to do it". 'Cos I don't think my asthma excuse can hold up now, seeing as how I haven't had an attack in 2 years +. Not that I want one...

I finally get to watch The Proposal tomorrow! With my parents but thats a good thing 'cos $0.00 comes from me. So essentially tomorrow I do get to go out. But Sunday once again, I have to stay home the whole day.

The chalet and Bali and Diwali are the only things I'm looking forward to now. Someone save me from this boredom.

Yes! I am officially on holiday! No more presentations, no more reflection journals, no more back stabbing bitches and no more studying! Woohoo!

STS UT was ok. Don't really wanna think about it 'cos its over and done and there's nothing left to be said about it.

To celebrate the end of school what did I do?

First, went to the coffee shop opposite school to slack.

Then to the school library to watch Benny play Dota.

Nice one right? But you know what, it doesn't matter 'cos the company was awesome.

I swear my mom is really annoying me. I don't understand her one bit! My holidays just started and she says I can't go out this entire week!! What the hell man. What the heck am I supposed to do at home?! Stare at the wall?! Annoying to the max.

I wanna go out and meet my friends and do nothing. And for 5 whole days I can't. The next time I see anyone outside my family is on Monday for that stupid camp.

Nonsense. At least my driving allows me to leave the house for short periods of time. So it won't feel 100% like jail. Only 95%. -.-

I think she's taking revenge 'cos last week after I was discharged I kept on staying back after the UTs to "study" and I was coming home late. Hmph.

Lift My Feet Off The Ground

My legs hurt. From the running and swimming.

My mouth hurts. From laughing so much.

It felt so damn good to hit the water again. So natural. Get it? I was so psyched about it that I did an extra 30 laps just 'cos I didn't want to leave the water.

Plus I had the pool to myself. Awesome shit man. I didn't have to worry about bumping into annoying little kids or making sure I stayed in my lane. 'cos I got this problem. I can't walk straight and neither can I swim straight. HAHAHA.

I can't wait to go back. Love the weekdays. Love Laguna. =D

After went to Tampines to study. Their library is stupid. Provide tables and chairs but no power outlets. -.- First time I'm seeing a library without power outlets. Nonsense. So I was only able to study till my batt died on me. Luckily, I managed to cover 10 - 15.

That Benny Tan. Didn't even bother taking out his laptop, let alone study. Hmph. But he was nice enough to bring me on a tour of Tampines. I honestly never realized how big a place it is.

And there were a lot, a LOT of school kids there. I don't think we were ever that annoying when we went to SP right??? I miss slacking at SP. Eh you Singapore Polu students, can you hurry up and finish you exams????!!! Then we can go to Mount Faber!! And wifey and I can spend some quality time!

I cannot believe that the ONE NIGHT I was able to fall asleep before 3am, I had to wake up early and go for a doctor's appointment. Plus I was having such a nice dream. =(

That reminds me, I swear East Shore loves to suck out it's patient's money. I am perfectly healthy [doctor's own words] but for some reason they want me to do a stupid blood test on Monday.

My Heart Will Not Break

Today has been such an awesome day I tell you. I finally got to check out of my temporary hotel over at East Shore Hospital. YAY!! I was home sweet home by 11am!

First thing I did was to go take a nice hot shower in my own bathroom. God. I missed it. Then I laid down on my SUPER NICE bed for a while only to realize that the back problems provided by the stupid hospital bed were worser than I realized.

I took a nice nap in the afternoon. It was so nice to have a pillow that didn't sink in with the slightest touch and to sleep on a bed where turning doesn't involve falling off the bed. And not having to be care when I turn so that my IV needle isn't hit.

Then in the evening these two amazingly nice friends braved 966 and came all the way from Woodlands to Eunos to visit this poor not so sick girl at home! Lin and Benny are just SO NICE. =D

We actually managed to study MSI fully for tomorrow. In a mere 1/2 an hour! Slacked a bit here and went through my Ferror Roche. Before Lin started craving for Macs.

My mom was nice enough to let me go with them cos I told her I won't go out at all this week. "Recovery" *roll eyes* Slacked more at Macs before it became very noisy and filled with irritating people.

And here I am now. HOME SWEET HOME.

I will never take my house for granted anymore. It's amazing what kinda small things you will miss.

Let's start with good news!

I'm being discharged tomorrow! WOOHOO. =D Happiness man...I can't wait to go home sweet home. I'm totally homesick. I want my room, my bed, my toilet, my pillows, my desks and MY HOUSE.

Today was an awesome day I say. I had a surprise visitor! Sangeetha came to see me! Haven't seen her in exactly one year and one day!! She was so nice and brought me famous amos cookies!

Spent much of the afternoon catching up and thinking back to all the funny times in school. We laughed so much our jaws hurt! But it was totally worth it. We need to meet up more!!

I love all 3 of you guys for visiting me and making the stay here go by faster!! =D =D

Counting down till tomorrow.

Today, I finally feel more like myself. I'm laughing, joking and being sarcastic. 3 sure ways to know that Shamini is Shamini. =D

I wanna thanks my darling wifey for coming all the way down here to celebrate our One Month Anniversary. Of course the lamp post came with her. But since the lamp post is such good company I dont mind! HEHE.

I don't know why, but I'm in such a good mood. I haven't laughed this much in days. I miss it. I miss the outside world.

I can't wait for Tuesday. I can't wait to go home. To my room,to my bed, to my pillows! I swear my back is breaking from this stupid bed here. 2 more nights...I can do it.

Welcome Back

Yay, I finally have enough energy to provide a decent update!

And once again I'm back at blogger...just 'cos it's so much easier to use. But this time I've got a new url. =D

As most of you know by now I've been admitted into the hospital. I've been here since...Tuesday night. And the funniest part, they just figured out what's wrong with me yesterday.

Shan't go into the details 'cos I can't really be bothered.

All that you need to know is that :

I'm finally able to eat food without throwing it out
They finally took me off the drips
I'll most probably be outta here by Tuesday
I finally regained enough energy to start studying for my UT 3s.

I started studying for my UTs and I'm worn out from it. And I've only touched one module! The nurse came in to take my BP while I was studying and my BP was higher than normal. See how bad studying is for health. hmph.

Before I go back to hitting the books, so to speak, I wanna thank

The lovelies who visited me
The awesome people who kept me company online
Haz and Gordon for webcamming with me when i was dying of boredom
Saleha and Kim and Jacq for taking over the planning of the chalet
And that one person who kept things in perspective and kept me sane throughout this whole ordeal.
